I'm Manager Hirose. Hey!! This is a knife shop's account, right!? I've been posting nothing but unrelated stuff to blades, and on top of that, I've even started posting about incomprehensible cooking, what kind of account is this supposed to be!? I wouldn't be surprised if someone said that because I've been making such odd posts. But this time, I'm posting a proper knife shop-like before and after resharpening. ^^;

The gyuto knife we took in this time is as follows.

It was generally rusty, but it wasn't deeply rooted, and it seemed like the surface was just discolored, so I was able to remove it just by buffing.

The result is as shown in the photos below.

When laid out side by side...

It turned out like this.

Ideally, I should have posted photos from different angles and videos of actually cutting with it to have any convincing power, but...

Ah! Oops!! I haven't posted about sharpening at all recently!! I rushed to post this, and it's super obvious from the fact that this is the only photo. Sorry ^^;

I haven't been posting about sharpening at all recently, but I'd like to start doing so again, starting with this post. Thank you for your continued support. ^^;
